Plant Selection
The germinating bamboo shoots are buried in the ground in winter, waiting for the arrival of spring. The first rain of spring awakens the bamboo shoots. Bamboo stems are commonly used as building materials in East Asian countries. The structure of bamboo is divided into three parts from dense to sparse: bamboo green, bamboo meat and tabasheer, which constitute the bamboo wall, and the bamboo wall has a hollow structure divided into sections inside. Such structure preserves the bamboo's rigidity and the material's toughness.
Local Connection
The root of bamboo is also known as an underground stem, which is connected with several buds. Some buds will grow into new bamboos, while others will become new underground stems, connected with more buds. Such special ecological habits are just like the students in the university. Most of the graduates grow into new bamboo and develop their own direction, while some of them stay in the university to cultivate new shoots.
